Circular ledwall: the design of a digital solution for a positive shopping experience

To obtain this result, 3P Technologies placed a Digital Ring at the center of the Agora, the principal place of aggregation in the gallery: this is a circular Ledwall with a circumference of approximately 70 meters and a height of 160 cm, which displays dynamic video content thanks to the specifically designed digital signage system. The Digital Ring is currently the largest circular Ledwall in Italy.

The Agora is also completed with eight artistic installations called the Digital Trees, curved columns covered with flexible ledtiles, where centrally coordinated video content is broadcast.

The Digital Ring and Digital Trees are independent of each other, but at the same time synchronized in terms of content, to offer the user the maximum flexibility for the system.

Considering the high resolution of the installations, during the construction of the project particular attention was paid to the development of the management system, adopting and developing a simple and intuitive playout system, operated from a single workstation with remote access also available.

Success achieved thanks to the careful choice of the most advanced led technologies

The choices regarding the quality of the LED screens to be used was focused on a careful evaluation and market analysis, opting for LED technologies able to guarantee highly reliable performance, reducing maintenance interventions to a minimum in a complex environment such as a shopping center.

The Digital Ring was named one of the five international finalists in the Retail sector for the “InAVation Awards”, an event held each year on the occasion of the ISE, the largest fair in the world dedicated to professional audio video and systems integration.

The I Gigli project represents an example of how it is increasingly possible in the retail sector to change and improve the shopping experience by designing high-impact, immersive and engaging visual solutions for visitors to shopping centers.
